S. Kaye Harrison

S. Kaye Harrison was born in Water Valley, MS, but grew up in mid-town Memphis. She attended Memphis City Schools and Memphis State University. She studied art with many local and nationally known artist; Paul Penczner, Elmer Blalock, Ken Backkas, David Leiffel, and currently studies with colorist Sammy Britt.

Kaye’s love of art extends not only to her own work, but her conservation/restoration of damaged original works of art. She can also be found teaching adults and children in her studio/gallery. The Gallery, known as the Artist Workshop Gallery, features the artwork of local artists, visiting artists and many of her students work as well as her own.
